Do you have the same questions?
Our R&D team answers:
- Can aluminum instruments be cleaned and disinfected in the ultrasonic bath?
Generally aluminum instruments are suitable for ultrasonic cleaning unless directly prohibited by the manufacturer. Additionally, the manufacturer will specify which cleaning agents or disinfectants are compatible with and recommended for use with the instrument - Can the laser marking of instruments result in corrosion or become illegible?
The laser marking used for the identification of instruments is compatible with standard treatment procedures. The marking will remain clearly legible even after the instrument is extensively used corrosion will not occur. - I heard that instruments made of stainless steel lose their usage properties from this reprocessing. Is this true?
No. Stainless steel is especially resistant to corrosion and acid and does not suffer any loss of quality with standard reprocessing procedures. The instruments are thermally stable and are completely compatible with all disinfection, cleaning, and sterilization procedures. For sterilization, use of an autoclave is the most effective hygienic solution. - How does an ultrasonic device work?
The ultrasound dissolves particles from surfaces by means of its ultrasonic waves. The reattachment of the loosened material is avoided and clogged hollow items and cavities are opened.
