ORO CLEAN® Liquid is a highly effective concentrate for the cleaning of aspirating units, spittoon bowls, and amalgam separators. Thanks to a carefully balanced combination of active agents, the product has a high cleaning power and removes even persistent residue such as chalk, blood and other build up. ORO CLEAN® Liquid is free of aldehydes and alcohols making it suitable for different types of materials and harmless to the environment. ORO CLEAN® Liquid‘s non-foaming action is non-damaging to the suction pump.

Use

For cleaning, use an aqueous solution and dosage as required. To measure the correct dosage, use lid as a measuring cup. Add liquid concentrate to the cup until liquid reaches desired scale unit (20 ml lower scale, 40 ml upper scale). At the end of each working day, and as required, aspirate 1 liter per unit using the OROCLEAN® Cup. Also pour 1 liter down the spittoon bowl. Rinse thoroughly with water after surgical/invasive procedures and prior to the disinfection of the aspirating unit.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I use a regular household product to clean an aspirating unit?
    Many household products have foaming properties and are therefore completely unsuitable. A non-foaming product may be used but the responsibility for the aspirating unit lies with the user. A special cleaning product for aspirating units is a medical product Class 1 for which the manufacturer bears the responsibility for a sufficient effective spectrum and material compatibility.
  • What procedure do I follow when preparing a working solution?
    ORO CLEAN® Liquid solution is prepared in the OROCLEAN® Cup or in a measuring cup (2 liters).
  • How often do I use ORO CLEAN® Liquid?
    Against stubborn residue such as plaque, blood or other deposits, we recommend to use ORO CLEAN® Liquid once or twice daily.
  • What can I do to minimize deposits?
    To reduce the deposit of aspirated blood and proteins, we recommend to rinse the unit after every use with cold water.
