Disinfect upto 10 000 m2 with Only 1 Liter of ISORAPID Floor
OCC Switzerland?s latest innovation is our newly developed floor disinfectant ISORAPID Floor in conjunction with the OROCLEAN Floor Wiper.
Bacteria, Viruses, Fungi: Not on My Floor!
If a floor is visibly contaminated by blood, saliva, or another potentially infectious secretion, then a full disinfection goes without saying. But what if there is no visible contamination? Should the floor be cleaned and disinfected daily anyways?
You know the drill: the workday is coming to an end, the last patient has left the practice, all the instruments have been cleaned and taken care of, and the suction unit has been disinfected. The well-earned closing time is just within your grasp, if it were not for the disinfection of the floors. Many dental teams are able to smile and leave the dental practice, if an external cleaning service takes care of this tedious and time-intensive process. Other teams have to do the work themselves. In either case, you would like to be able to leave the dental practice, imagining that the floors will be perfectly clean in the morning. But you're wrong! Unlike the floors of your home, the practice floors have been heavily contaminated by germ-polluted spray mists. Although the danger of an infection is not so great, a daily disinfection is required for a comprehensive infection prophylaxis. This is especially essential when considering the danger of contamination to other areas such as the waiting room.
The floors of the treatment area, x-ray room, prophylaxis area, as well as the lab should be disinfected at the end of every workday. For this task, special disinfection solutions should be used at the concentration prescribed by the manufacturer. The floors are normally cleaned and disinfected using the so-called “two bucket method.” Next to the bucket with the disinfectant solution should be a second empty bucket, into which the mop should be wrung out. Thereby it is made sure that the disinfectant solution is not needlessly polluted, which could negatively impact the performance of the disinfectant. Yet why waste your time with this cumbersome and time-consuming technique?
The Solution: The OROCLEAN® Floor Wiper
OCC Switzerland has the quick, easy, and safe solution for disinfecting floors. With the new OROCLEAN® Floor Wiper, cleaning and disinfecting your floors becomes child's play!
This specially constructed wiper has a detachable water tank with a 1-liter holding capacity. This tank allows a working disinfectant solution to be easily produced. Simply remove the empty tank, add the concentrated disinfectant, fill with water, reattach the tank, clamp the cloth to the head of the wiper, and you're ready to go!
The OROCLEAN® Floor Wiper is truly revolutionary in its functional spray switch. The working solution can be directly sprayed onto the floor in an appropriate dosage by simply flipping the switch. There is no danger of irritating vapors when spraying, as almost no floor disinfectants contain high quantities of alcohol.
With the clamped cloth, any surface can be simply and safely cleaned. The swivel-head also allows the disinfection of room corners and all other hard-to-reach areas.
Tips & Tricks
Tips for disinfecting your floors with the new OROCLEAN® Floor Wiper:
- Always use a concentrated solution and dilute it with water. Never use a product in its concentrated form, as this is far too aggressive for most floors and is also neither economically nor environmentally sound.
- First put the disinfectant in the tank, and then fill with cold water (not higher than the marking on the tank). Please review the manufacturer's information for the recommended concentration level.
- Never mix products. Use one product that cleans and disinfects in one step: for example, ISORAPID® Floor or OROLIN® OP-Forte AF.
- Don't be stingy! For a proper disinfection, 20-40 ml/m2 is recommended as a working solution.
- Do not step on the floor until it is completely dry.
- After usage, the wiper and water tank must be cleaned and disinfected, dried, and stored in a clean place. The used cloths must be immediately put in the laundry and washed at 95° C (or chemothermically treated at 60° C). Single-use cloths must be immediately disposed of after use.
